Weekly Summer Day Camp Rates - $299 per camper + HST

Rates include 2 snacks and lunch daily, Thursday Sleep Over Program and Meals, Swimming Lessons, All Program Instruction and complimentary before care from 8:00 am - 9:00 am. 

** 4 Day Pro-rated Fee

Bus Transportation and Early Drop Off are available fro additional fees. 

Day Camp

Camp Mansfield Day Camps are an incredible opportunity for children ages 4-12 to experience wilderness camping without spending the nights away from home. Day Campers are able to participate in the Camp Mansfield Skill Advancement Program and experience all of the excitement that happens between 9-5. Our days are full of excitement and outdoor adventure! 

 

Day Campers are invited to “Sleep Over” on the Thursday night of their camp week. The sleep over program allows day campers to experience the overnight fun of a campfire program, sleeping in a cabin or a tent, and other fun evening activities with their cabin mates and counselors. 

Our Day-camp program includes daily lunch and snacks, dinner and breakfast for the sleep over, all program equipment* and skilled activity instructors. We do offer a bus service at an additional cost. Bus pick up locations are subject to change, please check www.mansfieldoutdoorcentre.cafor availability. 

 

* Mountain Bike participants are required to bring their own mountain bike and safety equipment

Pioneer Program – Day Camp Only   

Ages 4,5,6 (have completed JK, SK, Grade 1)  

 

The Pioneer Program is an introductory program for children who have completed JK, SK or Grade 1.  During the week-long day camp sessions, campers in the Pioneer Program will participate in a wide range of Camp Mansfield skill development activities including; Swim Lessons, Arts and Crafts, Drama, Wood Shop, Ecology, Camping Skills, Sports and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). In the Pioneer Program, the campers will be placed in “Cabin Groups” prior to camp and will generally participate in camp activities in their Cabin Group. Pioneer Program Campers are invited to “Sleep Over” on the Thursday Night of each week they attend Camp Mansfield.

 

Campers in the Pioneer Program will also participate in Camp Fire Activities, Camp Wide Games, and the Camp Mansfield Skill Advancement Program. 

Explorer Program –Day Camp or Overnight Options  

Ages 7,8,9 (have completed Grades 2- 4)

 

The Explorer Program is designed to provide campers with the opportunity to participate in a variety of skill development activities while deepening their knowledge in a desired activity area.  Explorers will choose 2 elective activity areas where they will have additional daily participation; Air Rifles; Archery, Mountain Biking, Swimming, The Arts, Camping Skills, Woodshop or STEM.  Resident Camp participants can expect to participate in 2 elective activities and 2 non-elective activities per day. 

 

Elective Activities; Swimming, Arts and Crafts, Drama, Wood Shop, Ecology, Camping Skills, Sports, Archery and Target Sports, Mountain Biking and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

Blazer Program – Day Camp or Overnight Options  

Ages 10,11,12 ( have completed Grades 5,6,7)

 

The Blazer Program provides an opportunity for campers to be fully immersed in their Core activities. In the Blazer program, campers will build on the intermediate skills they have previously developed at Camp Mansfield and begin developing a personalized camp experience in the Camp Mansfield Skill Advancement Program. Blazers will choose 4 elective activities where they will have additional daily participation; Air Rifles, Archery, Mountain Biking, Swimming, The Arts, Camping Skills, Woodshop or STEM.  

 

Elective Activities; Swimming, Arts and Crafts, Drama, Wood Shop, , Ecology, Camping Skills, Team Sports, Low Ropes and Team Building, Hiking, Archery and Target Sports, Mountain Biking and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
