The trails at Mansfield Outdoor Centre are open again!

Our team of experienced riders and trail builders have spent the last two months finding and creating some of the best single track trails in all of Southern Ontario.

Feel like a road or gravel ride? No problem! Why not use MOC as your base with parking, washrooms, a bike wash and repair stand and river access for a swim after.

When other trail systems in Ontario have to close due to heavy rain fall, the trails at MOC can stay open due to excellent drainage and coverage.

MOUNTAIN BIKE REPAIR & PUMP

Located at the Main Lodge on the east side of the barn you can find a complimentary bike fix it station and air pump.  Water hose and area to clean your bike post ride is also available.  Help your self and please leave it in optimal condition for the next rider.  We love it when we take of each other and keep things in good working order.

GENERAL INFORMATION AND COVID PRECAUTIONS

In order for everyone to have a chance to enjoy the outdoors in a safe, fun manner, a number of changes will be implemented in accordance with local health directives issued for businesses operating  in the Step 3 plan of reopening as per O. Reg 364/20.   Sanitation stations, increased facility and washroom cleaning frequency as well as new signage will be found around the property.

We ask that you do not visit the Mansfield Outdoor Centre if you feel unwell, or if anyone in your household or work environment is ill.  These precautions will help minimize the transmission of COVID within the property, while maximizing the ability for visitors to take full advantage of our GREAT outdoors spaces.

PARKING

Parking will be at the Main Lodge or Barn parking lot.   Your car will be your “home base” for your bags, food and any other nonessentials. These items must remain in your car for the duration of your visit. If camping, please remember to not store food in your tent and leave it in your car instead. You don't what to be inviting any type of animals or creatures to come visit your tent for a snack.

MAIN LODGE

Masks are required at all times whilst in the Main Lodge.  As per regulations, social distancing and a minimum of 2 meters must be maintained between guests, or as we like to say…space for two coyotes between people.  Hand sanitizer is available (and recommended for use) at all entry points.  Touch points will be sanitized multiple times during the day using a certified disinfectant.

Washrooms will be open and cleaned frequently to ensure a sanitary condition.  Please note that at some times during the day, a washroom might be closed for a short duration for a deep cleaning.  Please be respectful of cleaners, as their efforts are required for our continued operation.  Be patient, smile, and if you can say Thank-you, it goes along way, and we all want to be able to enjoy the property in a fun, safe way.

Bag storage and change rooms are unavailable at this time. Please do not change in the washrooms.

There is currently no indoor dining at MOC. If you brought something to eat or snack please enjoy in your vehicle, your tent, your rented cabins or at anyone of our picnic tables.  Stay as long as you want during your visit, but please remember to leave no trace.  We pride ourselves in keeping Mother Nature happy.
